Michael Thim is Nordic and Baltic CEO for Mediabrands. He initially came to IUM in 2001 as CEO and took over the entire group in 2012.
Previously, Michael was first COO and then CEO at Vilstrup Research for a number of years. His focus is directed at both top line and bottom line growth and at the continuous expansion of Mediabrands’ fields of expertise, which will extend much wider than a traditional media agency.
Birger Steen Petersen has been Nordic CFO at Mediabrands and IUM since 2002. His expertise and diligence is second to none. Birger came to the advertising business back in 1979 at ad agency DMB&B.
Before coming to IUM, he also gathered solid business experience from the “real world”, spending 11 years as Head of Finance for Shell Global Solutions.
Cato H. Drægebø is our Nordic Business Director at Mediabrands and IUM. Cato spent several years at agencies in Norway – mainly nine year in MEC and GroupM management- before taking a Nordic role at Mediabrands in 2015.
Martin Boston is CIO for IPG Mediabrands and joined us in 2013. He is an analyzing, holistic and logically thinking result-oriented it-professional that has worked in the media industry since he started for Omnicom back in 2001. Martin focuses on using IT technology to optimize business processes and secure high ROI on IT investments.
Christian Strand is Nordic Managing Director for MARVELOUS – Mediabrands’ creative unit specializing in digital content, i.e. video. Before the Nordic position, he was Managing Director for MARVELOUS Denmark. Christian Strand in fact initiated the launch of Marvelous in 2011 – then a highly surprising move for a media agency –when he held the position as Chief Innovation Officer at IUM. Between 2007 and 2011, he was Head of Group Interactive at IUM. Christian initially joined IUM back in 2004 as Interactive Director.
Fredrik Forsberg is Managing Director for Cadreon Nordics and Head of Programmatic & Data Management for IUM in the region. He joined Mediabrands in 2011 to build Search and Programmatic capabilities in Sweden and took over the Nordic leadership for Cadreon in 2014/2015. With over 17 years of experience in the digital media space, Fredrik has held various leadership roles on both media and agency side. He has been working with some of the world’s biggest and brightest brands to shine in digital and data driven activations.
